Field Experience at miami
Field Experience | ART 195 | Spring 2015
During my first year at Miami I helped out in many areas for my art education department. I helped out an upperclassmen art education student Kaylee with one of her Saturday art days assisting her in the classroom. The students that day were making clay hands. In Dr. Danker's class we prepared for the Oxford Kinetics Festival and ran an activity called flying fish where the kids can make their own fish and then race them down a biplane. I finished up my field experience with helping clean up the art show that the students had for their Saturday art.

Field Experience | ART 295 | Fall 2015
In my elementary art methods class, I was lucky to spend close to 20 hours assisting Abe Harris in the classroom at Riverview Elementary in Humiliation OH. We both built a close professional relationship and I will never forget the memories I shared with his two fifth grade classes that I saw every time I came. We worked on two different name design projects, I played an art game with them as their reward for having good behavior at the end of the quarter and I helped them start with a clay pinch pot lesson.

Field Experience | ART 296 | Spring 2016
In my Secondary Methods class, I spent about 20 hours assisting Jay Hunsche in his art classroom at Talawanda High School. I was very impressed by all the talent I seen his students do and I was happy to work with all grade levels and get to know the students personally.

Field Experience | ART 395 | Fall 2016

Field Experience | Saturday Art | Fall 2017
A 6 week session where students in this class were assigned a grade level to teach and had the opportunity to create their own lesson plans for the class that they would be running.
